Job Description
  • Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is looking for an experienced Project Manager for its Integrated Climate-Resilient Livelihood Program for Coastal Bangladesh (ICRL-BD) in Barguna. The selected candidate will provide overall leadership, technical and operational management, coordination, quality assurance, and accountability to ensure effective project implementation. The role will focus on climate-resilient livelihoods, disaster preparedness, inclusive governance, locally led adaptation, MEAL, and stakeholder engagement.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Lead overall project planning, implementation, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination in line with the approved project design and CCDB policies.
  • Translate project outcomes, outputs, and indicators into practical field-level plans, targets, and responsibilities for project staff.
  • Supervise project activities to ensure quality implementation, timely delivery, and achievement of expected results.
  • Monitor project progress, budget utilization, risks, and implementation gaps, and take appropriate corrective and adaptive actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate effectively with project staff, communities, local government institutions, People’s Organizations, service providers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee monitoring, documentation, reporting, learning, safeguarding, compliance, and accountability requirements throughout the project.
  • Provide technical and managerial guidance to project staff, support team capacity development, and represent the project in meetings, stakeholder forums, and relevant events.
