Job Description

Amra Kaj Kory (AKK) is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Agriculture Officer to support activities under the Agro-Microenterprise Development Unit funded by PKSF. The selected candidate will work in Faridpur and contribute to agriculture-focused development activities, particularly Agro-Ecological Farming, Agro-Ecotourism, and related field-level initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with farmers, entrepreneurs, and local stakeholders in rural and char areas.

Responsibilities & Context

Support the implementation of agriculture-related project activities at the field level in line with project objectives and guidelines.

Work closely with farmers, entrepreneurs, and other local stakeholders to promote improved and sustainable agricultural practices.

Assist in implementing Agro-Ecological Farming and Agro-Ecotourism-related activities within the project area.

Conduct regular field visits in the char areas of Faridpur and monitor the progress of assigned agricultural activities.

Provide practical guidance and technical support to project beneficiaries on relevant farming and agricultural practices.

Maintain effective communication and coordination with community members, project participants, and other stakeholders.

Support field-level reporting, documentation, follow-up activities, and other responsibilities assigned by the project management team.
