Job Description

Amra Kaj Kory (AKK) is looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Officer (Agriculture) to support activities under PKSF’s Agro-Micro Enterprise Development Unit (AMEDU). The selected candidate will work at the North Channel Agro-Ecological Learning Centre and designated project areas in Faridpur. The role will focus on promoting eco-friendly, safe, and sustainable agricultural practices while providing technical support to farmers and entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities & Context

Provide agriculture-related training and technical assistance to farmers and project beneficiaries.

Promote eco-friendly, safe, and sustainable agricultural production practices within the project area.

Support the establishment and effective operation of the Agro-Ecological Learning Centre.

Maintain regular communication with farmers and entrepreneurs and provide necessary technical guidance.

Organize and facilitate agricultural demonstrations, training sessions, field days, and awareness activities.

Coordinate with farmers, entrepreneurs, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of field-level activities.

Monitor the progress of agricultural activities and prepare required reports, documentation, and updates for project management.
