Job Description
  • PDO is hiring an M&E Officer to manage project monitoring and reporting in Patuakhali. The role focuses on collecting reliable data, checking its quality, and using the findings to improve project activities. The selected candidate will work with project staff and government health and family planning teams at district and upazila levels. The position is based at the district headquarters and requires travel within the district for approximately 70% of working time.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Implement the project’s monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) plan at district and upazila levels.
  • Collect, validate, compile, and report project data on time.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in DHIS2, LMIS, DGFP MIS, and other reporting systems.
  • Conduct field visits and data quality checks, and follow up on improvement plans.
  • Analyze performance trends and share findings to support project planning and decisions.
  • Train and coach project staff and government counterparts on M&E tools, reporting, and data quality.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, presentations, and documentation of lessons learned.
