Job Description
  • SS Power I Limited, a China-Bangladesh joint venture company, operates a massive 1,320 MW coal-fired supercritical thermal power plant at Banshkhali, Chattogram, and is looking for a skilled professional to manage and supervise workshop operations including machining, fabrication, welding, repair, and maintenance activities.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Manage and supervise all workshop operations, machining, fabrication, and welding activities efficiently.
  • Oversee equipment repair and routine maintenance tasks to ensure smooth power plant operations.
  • Coordinate closely with the maintenance teams to provide seamless operational support.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality parameters, and high-efficiency standards.
  • Monitor workshop resource allocation and manage technical team workflow effectively.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement prompt corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed logs of workshop activities, repairs, and equipment status.
