Job Description
  • Pak International Hospital is a trusted healthcare institution dedicated to providing high-quality medical services and patient care in Karachi. We are looking for surgical support specialists to prepare, sterilize, and maintain operation theaters and surgical equipment. This role offers a fast-paced clinical environment with opportunities to work alongside top surgical teams. Successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring safe, sterile, and smooth surgical procedures.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Prepare and sterilize operation theaters, surgical instruments, and medical equipment prior to procedures.
  • Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical nurses during operations with instrument handling.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of surgical supplies, medications, and theater equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, safety measures, and infection control in the OT.
  • Clean, service, and store surgical equipment properly following the completion of surgeries.
  • Handle biohazard waste disposal and maintain cleanliness standards in the surgical unit.
  • Assist in positioning patients and managing emergency equipment setup inside the theater.
