Job Description
  • This role provides direct hospitality and table service to ensure an enjoyable, high-quality dining experience for every guest. It requires clear knowledge of the food and beverage menu to answer questions and offer helpful recommendations. The staff member manages table readiness, takes accurate orders, and serves meals promptly during busy shifts. Active coordination with the kitchen and bar ensures special dietary needs and timing requirements are met. Ultimately, it maintains high sanitation standards, fosters a welcoming atmosphere, and drives repeat customer visits.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, guide them to assigned tables, and present physical or digital menus.
  • Order Taking & Suggestions: Record food and drink orders accurately and suggest popular appetizers, sides, or beverage pairings
  • Food & Drink Delivery: Carry food and beverages safely from the kitchen and bar directly to guest tables in the correct order.
  • Table Upkeep: Clear dirty plates, remove empty glassware, refill beverages, and replace used napkins and cutlery throughout the meal.
  • Kitchen Communication: Relay customer allergies, special cooking instructions, and priority orders clearly to the kitchen team.
  • Payment Handling: Present the final bill, process cash, card, or digital payments accurately, and return receipts and change promptly.
  • Sidework & Sanitation: Wipe down tables, reset place settings, restock condiment stations, and maintain dining area cleanliness before and after shifts.
