Job Description
  • Dhaka Engineering Corporation (DEC) is looking for a technically skilled and field-oriented Service Technician to join its service team. The selected candidate will be responsible for on-site inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of generators and related electrical or mechanical equipment. The role requires practical technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work at different customer locations. Candidates should be able to identify faults, perform basic repairs, and coordinate with senior technical personnel when required. Applicants who are disciplined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in field service environments will be preferred.

  • Perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of generators and related equipment.
  • Identify electrical or mechanical faults and carry out basic troubleshooting.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance according to service schedules.
  • Maintain service records, job sheets, and basic technical documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status and technical issues.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and report major faults to senior technical personnel.
