Job Description
  • Sustainable Agriculture Foundation Bangladesh is a nonprofit development organization working to improve sustainable agriculture, food systems, and rural livelihoods. The organization is implementing the Nutrition in City Ecosystems (NICE) project to improve nutrition and access to safe, nutritious food in secondary cities. SAF Bangladesh is seeking a qualified Project Officer – Nutrition to support project implementation and nutrition-related activities in Dinajpur. The selected candidate will coordinate with project partners, local authorities, and communities to strengthen nutrition awareness and sustainable food systems. The position requires effective project coordination, field monitoring, technical support, and regular reporting to achieve project objectives.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Coordinate and implement nutrition-focused project activities under the Nutrition in City Ecosystems (NICE) project.
  • Support nutrition education, community awareness campaigns, and initiatives promoting healthy and nutritious food consumption.
  • Collaborate with municipalities, local authorities, NGOs, and development partners to strengthen nutrition-related programs.
  • Conduct nutrition needs assessments, identify knowledge gaps, and support the development of effective intervention strategies.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation tools to assess nutrition education and project performance.
  • Facilitate community engagement activities focusing on women, youth, and vulnerable populations.
  • Prepare project reports, monitor field activities, maintain documentation, and support project management and coordination.
