Job Description
  • American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is seeking a responsible and technically competent Lab Assistant for the Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) department. The position focuses on supporting laboratory classes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring an effective practical learning environment for students.
  • The Lab Assistant will assist faculty members in conducting lab sessions related to industrial engineering topics such as work study, time study, production planning, ergonomics, simulation, and quality control. Responsibilities include preparing lab materials, setting up equipment, monitoring student activities, and ensuring proper usage and safety of lab tools and machines.
  • The candidate should have a good understanding of industrial engineering principles, basic data analysis, and familiarity with relevant software/tools where applicable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple lab sessions efficiently are essential.
  • This role is suitable for candidates who are enthusiastic about academic support, hands-on learning, and contributing to the technical skill development of engineering students.
