Job Context

• Mutual Trust Bank PLC is one of the leading private commercial banks in Bangladesh, providing a wide range of retail, corporate, and SME banking services. The bank is currently seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional for the position of SME Relationship Manager to strengthen its Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) portfolio.
• In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding SME client relationships. The position requires strong business development skills, credit knowledge, and the ability to achieve portfolio growth targets while ensuring quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and expand SME customer portfolio of the bank
• Identify potential SME clients and generate new business opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and growth
• Evaluate credit proposals and ensure proper documentation for loan processing
• Achieve monthly and yearly loan disbursement and recovery targets
• Monitor client accounts and ensure timely repayment of loans
• Provide financial solutions tailored to SME clients’ business needs
• Conduct regular market visits and business development activities
• Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams for smooth processing
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and credit guidelines
